Clear guidance for the moments that matter

Hi, I'm Chris, a dad of three and a Paediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner with 13 years' experience in children's emergency care and primary care.

Little Health exists because I know what it's like to stand in a hallway at 2am, wondering whether to worry.

I created Little Health to give parents clear, honest guidance grounded in the same clinical thinking I use every day.

From rashes and constipation to fevers and worrying symptoms, Little Health helps you understand the childhood health concerns I see every day in clinic. What's common, what's normal, and what's worth a closer look.

You'll learn to read the signs your child is giving you, what points to watching at home, and what points to getting help, whether that's NHS 111, your GP, or A&E

Join the Little Health newsletter for straightforward, evidence-based guidance on the things that come up again and again as a parent. As a bonus, you'll also get my free Traffic Light Guide, and be first to know when I run a free webinar on common childhood conditions. You can see what's coming up on the Webinars page.

The Traffic Light Guide is an educational tool designed to help you understand how clinicians think about childhood illness. It uses the same red, amber, green approach used by NICE and NHS resources such as Healthier Together (www.healthiertogether.nhs.uk, an NHS resource referenced for information only), and is primarily intended for children under 5 years. It cannot tell you whether your individual child is seriously unwell, and does not replace direct clinical assessment.
